Testing of assistive technology

The Testing Laboratory at the Danish Centre for Assistive Technology is accredited (DANAK reg. No. 347) and holds considerable knowledge and a wide experience within the area of assistive technology for persons with disabilities
The Danish Centre performs accredited testing of:

Testing of other products

The Danish centre co-operates closely with the testing laboratories in Sweden where testing of human-driven and powered wheelchairs, ostomy and incontinence products and assisitve products for hearing is offered

Quality cannot be compromised

In the Nordic countries, assistive technology has been tested for many years. Suppliers in the Nordic countries have had to satisfy critical users and providers.
Why critical? Because for many years, most people with disabilities have lived their lives as all other citizens. They live in their own homes, attend school and get an education, have jobs, join in social and cultural activities, go abroad for their holidays, etc. An important prerequisite for this is that the right, high quality assistive technology products are available. This is an international trend. The international customer is rapidly becoming an extremely well-informed consumer.
